چکیده

Abstract Bitter gourd wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. momordicae (FOM) is a devastating crop disease in China. A total of 173 isolates characteristic typical with abundant microconidia and macroconidia on white or ruby colonies were obtained from diseased plant tissues. BLASTn analysis the rDNA-ITS showed 99% identity F. species. Among tested isolates, three infectious toward tower five pathogenic to bottle gourd. However, all bitter For genetic differences analysis, 40 ISSR primers screened 11 used for ISSR-PCR amplification. In total, 127 loci detected, which 76 polymorphic at rate 59.84%. POPGENE that Nei’s gene diversity index (H) Shannon’s information (I) 0.09 0.15, respectively, indicated was low. The coefficient differentiation (Gst = 0.33 > 0.15) mainly among populations. strength flow (Nm 1.01 1.0) weak, indicating population drift blocked some degree. dendrogram based markers nine geographical populations clustered into two groups threshold similarity 0.96. Shandong Henan Group I, while Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hubei constituted II. Results variation Hunan Guangxi had highest degree differentiation, lowest differentiation. Our findings enrich knowledge characteristics FOM goal developing effective disease-management programs resistance breeding programs.

ISSR (Inter Simple Sequence Repeats) as molecular markers to study genetic diversity in tarantulas (Araneae, Mygalomorphae)

Although all species of the Brachypelma genus are protected under CITES, few studies have been performed on the genetic structure of the populations of these endangered tarantulas. Here we propose, for the first time in spiders, to use ISSR (Inter Simple Sequence Repeat) technique to study the genetic variability of Mexican populations of Brachypelma vagans (Ausserer 1875). We used a nonlethal ...

Genetic and Molecular Dissection of Blast Resistance in Rice Using RFLP, Simple Sequence Repeats and Defense-Related Candidate Gene Markers

Blast, Pyricularia grisea (Cooke) Sacc., is one of the most destructive diseases of rice worldwide and canresult in significant reductions in yield. The use of resistant cultivars is the most economical and effectiveway of controlling rice blast. A variety of DNA markers, including plant defense-related candidategene markers are available for genetic characterization and molec...

Population structure and genetic diversity of Botrychium pumicola (Ophioglossaceae) based on inter-simple sequence repeats (ISSR).

Species of Botrychium reproduce by spores that form subterranean gametophytes and a few, like B. pumicola, also reproduce asexually with subterranean sporophytic gemmae. The goal of this study was to examine the genetic diversity of B. pumicola populations and to better understand the role of gemmae. Ninety-nine individuals from three monitored populations were sampled. The technique of inter-s...

Genetic Characterization of the Gypsy Moth from China (Lepidoptera, Lymantriidae) Using Inter Simple Sequence Repeats Markers

This study provides the first genetic characterization of the gypsy moth from China (Lymantriadispar), one of the most recognized pests of forests and ornamental trees in the world. We assessed genetic diversity and structure in eight geographic populations of gypsy moths from China using five polymorphic Inter simple sequence repeat markers, which produced reproducible banding patterns. We obs...
